\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 In order to spread the experience of Taiwan’s technical and vocational education and to complement the development of digital learning, our school established the “Digital Master of Technical and Vocational Education Special Class” in 2021 (the 110 academic year) to provide working people who are restricted by distance and working hours in Taiwan and overseas. A high quality and excellent channel for further education, and continuous commitment to the cultivation of professional talents in global technical and vocational education administration, teaching and research. The enrollment target of this special class is people who are interested in the administration, curriculum, teaching and research of technical education and vocational training. The course is to cultivate students’ knowledge of theory building, independent thinking, problem solving, and creative creativity. After graduating from this special class, you can engage in administration, research, teaching and promotion of technical education and vocational training related units or schools, and you can work in the human resource development department of general enterprises.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The course of the “Digital Master of Technical and Vocational Education” course of the Department of Industrial Education focuses on cultivating students to have the ability to understand and implement technical education administration, teaching theory and practice, and develop practical knowledge of independent thinking, problem solving and innovative thinking. Cultivate outstanding teachers, research and management talents in the field of technical and vocational education.<\/p>

Specifically, the main goal of this special class is to cultivate the following three types of talents:<\/p>

1.Cultivating professional teachers for the theory and practice of technical and vocational education<\/span>
<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 With Taiwan\u2019s economic take-off, technical and vocational education has played a very important role, cultivating many high-quality technical and vocational talents and creating Taiwan\u2019s economic miracle. Since its establishment in the Republic of China in 42 years, the department has graduated more than 7,000 people. It has cultivated many outstanding industrial and vocational education administrative and professional teachers, which is the cradle of domestic technical and vocational education teachers. On this basis, the on-the-job full-time class will combine practical and experienced teachers and professional and practical courses to cultivate teachers who take into account both professional theory and practice, and become the first choice for technical teachers to further their professional competence.<\/p>

2.Cultivate research and development talents for technical and vocational education<\/span>
<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Research and development provide technical and vocational education with important references for teaching improvement, policy planning, and operation and management. It is an indispensable element for the sustainable development and continuous improvement of technical and vocational education. The teachers of this department have been deeply involved in technical education policy and teaching research for a long time, and they have also cultivated many technical education research talents. In the future, it is hoped that through the research and training of this special class, we can continue to cultivate technical and vocational education research manpower with independent thinking and innovative thinking, and provide concrete and feasible suggestions with research foundation for reform.<\/p>

3.Cultivate administrative management talents in technical and vocational schools, education and training institutions<\/span>
<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 After years of hard work, the department has cultivated many outstanding administrators and supervisors with technical and vocational education policy planning, implementation and school management capabilities. The deans and directors of technical schools are too numerous to mention. The department will continue to cultivate outstanding technical and vocational education administrative management talents, and invest in policy planning and innovation of technical and vocational education.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 In terms of teaching mode, in response to the trend of digital learning, most of the courses in this special class are opened as distance learning courses to provide students of this special class with a further opportunity to learn anytime and anywhere, and most of the students in this special class are technical Vocational education administrative units, technical senior middle schools, most of them have served as directors, group leaders and other middle and high-level management positions in their service units. Students can learn the types of digital learning courses while studying in this special class, and improve their understanding of the use of the Internet.
